Kaustubha Udyog cares about your privacy and wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose data. This Privacy Statement covers the collection, use, and disclosure of data collected via ogauge.io and any other Kaustubha Udyog website / application where this Privacy Statement is posted or linked. The issue of privacy is extremely crucial for Kaustubha Udyog, which is committed to safeguarding the information provided by its customers and other users availing it’s services and using it’s products. We will usually retain information only about our products, and relevant ownership details, besides the data that is absolutely necessary for rendering meaningful services to our customers. This data will only be used to improve our offerings and services to our customers.
What information we collect
Kaustubha Udyog collects data about Ogauges’ model and serial numbers and it’s registered owner’s email addresses, to help users of Ogauges. Typically this data is used to let registered users know their forgotten passwords, updates to the firmware, updates to the mobile application used to configure Ogauge , and any similar notifications. Actual process data where Ogauges are used is not accessed by Kaustubha Udyog or it’s employees/ associates (unless absolutely neccessary [but with prior approval]). The dashboard access given to admins of Ogauges allows them to download process data. It is advisable they download it from time to time. All process data stored in the cloud application and it’s backup is the Ogauge owners’ responsibility and Kaustubha Udyog cannot be held liable for it’s loss or breach of security.
How we use the information you provide
When using the mobile app, the data provided while using the help function, is used to understand the configuration of Ogauge and help users resolve their problems. The data collected about Ogauge model and serial numbers and their owner’s email addresses is used to help users with forgotten password information, and any updates to the device’s firmware. We never sell any of the data about Ogauge ownership.
When we share your information
By using our products or services, you authorise us to transfer and store your information outside your home country, including in India, for the purposes described in this policy. The privacy protections and the rights of authorities to access your personal information in such countries may not be equivalent to those of your home country. We may share or disclose data to Other entities within the Kaustubha Udyog group of companies;
- Third parties that provide services to us, such as system hosting, management, and support; data analysis; facilitation of advertisements; data backup; and data security and storage services;
- Relevant third parties as part of a corporate transaction, such as a reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock (including in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceeding);

Cookies and other internet technologies
No cookies are used in this mobile application. Only device relevant data is collected by this mobile app, or is transferred back to the device. This Privacy Statement does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy practices of any third parties, including those that operate websites to which this Site / mobile app links. The inclusion of a link on this Site does not imply that we or our affiliates endorse the practices of the linked website.
Third Party Sites
Third-party apps and services are created by companies or developers that are not owned by Kaustubha Udyog. Kaustubha Udyog uses such services for cloud application, transferring data from Ogauges to the cloud application, storing Ogauge owner’s email address linked with the model and serial number etc., maintaining and upgrading the mobile application and generally to benefit the Ogauge users. Third-party apps that request access to your sensitive information may not have been reviewed by Kaustubha Udyog for compliance with Kaustubha Udyog’s policies for keeping your data secure. For example, if a third party app is still in development or not broadly available, it might not have been reviewed by Kaustubha Udyog.
Data Security and transfer
Data stored on the Ogauge, except the one needed for operation of Ogauge, is erased when the Ogauge is unclaimed for transfer of ownership. If you need this data, you may want to send the Ogauge physically to us, for extracting it and sharing it with you. The data on the cloud application, can be downloaded by you and proper backup should be maintained from time to time.
We use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect data under our control. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you feel that the security of any data that we hold about you has been compromised, please immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us in accordance with the Contacting Us section below
Data retention
Data about the Ogauge owner’s email addresses, related model and serial numbers of Ogauges is retained by Kaustubha Udyog till it is deemed necessary. Ogauge configuration data when Oguage users requests help to resolve any problems is deleted once the problem is resolved. Only one’s own Ogauge process data is available to the Ogauge owner on the cloud application. We will retain your personal data only for those periods necessary to fulfill the various purposes outlined in this Privacy Statement, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law.
Updates to this notice
We may make changes to this Privacy Statement from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page shows when this Privacy Statement was last revised. Any changes will become effective when we post a revised version of this Privacy Statement on this Site. Your use of this Site is subject to the terms in the version of this Privacy Statement that is posted on this Site at the time of your visit.
